Last year, we invited six Polish writers based in the UK and in Poland to work with six British writers on producing a story in a single day – the stories were read out that same night in Clifftown Theatre as part of the Polish Arts Festival in Southend on Sea, and were then published in a collection (see / buy it here)
This year, we will have five Polish writers – Justyna Bargielska, Julia Fiedorczuk, Przemek Gulda, Mikolaj Lozinski and Adam Wiedemann – working over the Polish Arts Festival weekend on stories in Polish, which will then be translated overnight into English and presented as part of the closing event ceremony in Southend on Sea.
